Feeds that don't work?

Mar 28, 2008 at 1:48 AM
I have a few feeds that don't work, though 95% of all other feeds do. I found this in both version and earlier version of Doppler. Sometimes the feeds worked at first then stopped. I don't know if it is Doppler or something else, but you can go to the web pages and see and download the mp3 files by hand. For instance:

This one worked then stopped working; no error message:
http://www.620kpoj.com/podcast/hartmann_nationwide.xml

This one never worked:
http://www.netnebraska.org/television/news/enthompson.xml
error:
2008-03-27 17:46:33RetrieverE The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. (ProtocolError), while retrieving the size of http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/enthompson/~5/110766902/entpagels2005.mp3

I think in this case the publisher of the feed has published the wrong url.
It may be that the web page has the correct url but the feed has an incorrect url.
For example the url http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/enthompson/~5/110766902/entpagels2005.mp3 gives an error when I navigate to it in a browser.
Maybe contact the publisher to get them to fix these broken urls.
If this doesn't solve the issue then we can look into it further.

Regards,

Jonathan.
